Sean, Peter makes a good point about the muffler. It can be difficult to get a very heavily carboned muffler clean. I have cleaned one muffler several times before I was confident that it was truly clean. As I understand, your moped was going slow before you cleaned the muffler and now does no better. Is it worse or different as a result of the cleaning? If so, than the cleaning was not completely successful and needs to be done again. Whenever there are problems as you described, the most frequent suspected problems are a dirty muffler or dirty carb. When you are sure that these problems have been taken care of, let us know how your Trac is running. I hope this helps. Joe |
