For those of you that have had some success at cleaning mufflers, please
share your method.

---I choose to empty massive amounts of engine degreaser into the pipe.
Then I shake vigoroursly. Sometimes I'll tap on the exhaust kinda hard but
w/no dents and heat it up w/boiling water. Then repeat till the crap that
comes out is less and less black/brown.
Although there may be no single best method, a few

different methods to try would be helpful to all of us.
Also, is there some procedure to determine if the muffler is clean or still
partially plugged?
